The solution is to give value to the product that have packaging which should be recycled and is not bio degradable. Any product when the customer buy will have additional value of packaging. This amount which customer paid upfront will be given back when he/she will return the packaging or toxic product like dry batteries, bulbs, bottles at the collection center. But to manage such large volume of money and packaging need an efficient technology.The use of BAR CODE system will be useful. Every product or packaging will have a unique bar code number according to area , state etc. A small amount will be included into the product price of the packaging. This money will be given back to customer after it was returned to recycling. The whole setup need money to manage this bulk waste will be included into product price itself. A proper software setup is required to manage the money recycling from manufacturer- customer - recycle center management.
This waste now is properly sorted , separated and is manageable for recycling.
It is possible to provide the customer a special card to manage this small amount which helps to solve the penny amount . Also a special credit should be given to customer who will effectively use this service and help to keep the environment clean.
