ELECTRICITY

Waste to Enegry

The problem facing the world within the next few decades of finding new reliable sources of energy is huge, and maybe we have the solution on our own doorstep. But people say this is RUBBISH.

Rubbish indeed is the solution.

The IMechE gave a press release on this subject, and it detail how ordinary household waste can be used for power a gasification plant to produce both electrical power and heat.

If these Gasification plants were local, then the comunity can send there waste to the plants, and get electrical power and hot water can be piped to the houses for domestic usage.

This could actually make the local comunity self sufficient.
