The message is truly in the millions of bottles and other plastic garbage floating around out there. Its a very sad state but the silver lining is billions can be made from this pollution while creating exciting new jobs by the thousands. My solution calls for private investment monies to be used to set up floating recycling stations. Much like how oil rigs are kept in place by G.P.S. these massive reclamation platforms would feature live aboard and work aboard facilities. The key is to place these mega floating recycling factories at the mouth of the depression just where the oceans currents first empties/deposits garbage into it. By stabilizing the floating cities location you then simply let the tides carry the debris into pre structured lagoons in preparation to being sucked up on board. The debris is first gently drained and washed with sea water to try and save the billions of sea creatures both macroscopic and microscopic alike from being killed. The debris is then sent through a centrifugal separator to complete its draining process before going to the sorters and re-claimer machines. Raw separated materials can then be bundled in large square blocks for shipment by container vessel back to land based factories and readied for use in many different new products & projects.
