Build some new land out into the Mediteranean

Why not take a lead from the smart people of Dubai who have built some new islands off the coast of their country and do the same thing off the coast of Israel/Palestine and provide incentives for some of the citizens from either side to move there, you could build an island for each group. Would lessen the pressure of numbers which is one reason for the territorial conflict there. Perhaps the peaceful citizens could go and leave those who enjoy fighting behind.....
