Chinese government offers to install a sewer digestible system at rural homes, which converts raw sewer to methane for fuel and pathogen-free slurry for fertilizer.

I actually heard this on a radio documentary, and I think Chinese government would be happy to implement or provide the know how to other countries if there is a market demand.

This is a great concept and it has clearly been well proven. The issue as I see it is that farmers are generally very busy looking after livestock and managing their land and often are not too worried..

No need to buy technology from China. The problem of manure - mostly piggery waste - causing a nuisance exists all over the Third World, and biogas plants to solve it have been built and operated succ..
