Comment on:Quit naturally.Ramping down the usage of tobacco can be accomplished by taking natural/organic Chinese or Ayurvedic herbs that detoxify the system. Exercise can also assist the body and release toxins through perspiration and excretion. Acupuncture seeds can also help drown cravings. Balancing the body with alkaline foods and less acidic foods will also support the body while it transitions from tobacco dependence. Timing is also a critical factor - the first and second quarter of every month is a great time to relinquish cigarettes and eat/juice organic vegetables to support the stamina, clear the toxins and start anew. The 3rd and 4th quarter signify harvest and deterioration, a time when fruits are more useful to cleanse the system even further. Repeating this cycle for at least 6-9 months will nurture the body and program it to expect goodness. In Chinese medical practice, the lungs are related to grieving. It is logical then, to explore the root of sadness or depression and the underlying cause of addiction. Clean Psychotherapy (without drugs) can assist one who is willing to look at the deeper issues of grief so they can understand their systemic behavior and begin to unravel their past history/herstory.
