If an individual truly wants to quit smoking, all that is need to be done is to seek inspiration and thrive to go through it. Avoiding things associated to one's smoking habbit will only give him/her the tendency to get back to it. In preparation to quitting, one should think of one BIG reason why they should quit and why they shouldn't fail. (I smoked twice as much as my daily consumption before I decided to quit the following day). All one should do is think of the reason why he/she is doing it everytime they fell like quitting.
