Known Solution for:

Non-biodegradable plastic waste

Discontinue the age old practice of stores giving out (plastic) bags with each purchase.

Discontinue use of all “one time use” bags being given out by stores.
People will have to bring a bag to the store in which to carry out their purchases. If they do not bring their own, cloth bags will be added to the cost of their purchase at a very low cost per bag. These bags will also be strong enough for ongoing use.
