Urine Tests for Doctors

Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio both recently instituted random urine tests for doctors to determine if there was the possibility of drugs in their systems. These types of programs could be instituted in all hospitals. If doctors are found to have drugs in their system while at work, harsh penalties should be imposed. It does not take a lot of time, energy or money to run drug tests, and the result could be higher standards among doctors and saving the lives of many patients.
