Known Solution for:

Predominance of fast food

Fast Food Society

There is a fast food mentality in modern society. The tendency of people to utilize fast food restaurants as a significant part of their weekly menu planning reflects the rapid pace at which they feel the need to move. Many people use fast food due to convenience, price and the speed with which it may be obtained. Unfortunately, they are trading in the extra minutes saved at the drive-thru window for a lifetime of health problems associated with obesity, diabetes and heart disease. To combat this tendency, it is essential that individuals engaged in a fast-food lifestyle begin to take steps to reduce stressors that create a need for the time/health tradeoff. In addition, small lifestyle changes will lead to fewer health problems and a longer, more fulfilling life.
