Chemical contaminants of food

Grow your own vegatables

One solution is to grow your own vegetables. I have started doing this to save money due to the current economy. You know exactly what you are getting when you make your own. I have made a garden 10 meters by 5 meters. I have grown nearly a years supply of basic vegetables. The great trick is to freeze the vegetables. Go buy one of those vacuum pack sealers you can find at the stores. These will keep vegetables for nearly 1 year! I have opened up green peppers I vacuum packed and deep froze and they tasted perfect.

Overall, I have saved over 600 USD in vegetables on a 20 USD budget. I know there is no chemicals in these vegetables.
