The most Eco-friendly solution will be to plant as many trees as humanly possible while maintaining the Bio-Diversity AND making sure that each and every sapling/tree planted is taken care of TILL it is capable of taking care of itself. (This is approximately 3/4 years in the tropics.) If each person on the planet, plants a tree on his/her birthday, we will have 6.5 billion trees every year being taken care of by 6.5 billion people with practically no load on any one person, more than one/two bottle/s of water per person per day.
