Jack Hipple

Jack Hipple is a 30+ year veteran of the real world of industrial innovation and problem solving. His background is unique as both a chemical engineer, a certified TRIZ Specialist, and certification in both social and problem solving style assessments, allowing interaction with groups on both a technical and psychological sense.
Jack Hipple As Director of Discovery Research and Corporate Chemical Engineering R&D for Dow Chemical, he was responsible for new business ventures as well as breakthrough engineering research applied across the entire corporation. As a Project Manager for the National Center for Mfg Sciences, he led multi-functional and inter-company teams in collaborative R&D. At Ansell Edmont and Cabot, he led R&D effiorts in new protective equipment and aerogels.

He was Business Development Manager for Ideation International and led the first successful deployment in the US of TRIZ Inventive Problem Solving at BP/Amoco.

Since 2001, he had led Innovation-TRIZ, a consulting company that provides breakthrough problem solving solutions in a matter of days vs. years and speaks passionately about the topic of "Learning from Others" to many groups including PDMA, IIR, ASME, AIChE, and the World Future Society.

He is the current Chair for the Management Division of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, leading programming at its national meetings and efforts to broaden member connections through on line training and interactions.
