The invention relates to a pile with asymmetric reinforcement for containing earth and to the method for obtaining said reinforcement, comprising a transverse reinforcement (9) fixed externally to a longitudinal reinforcement consisting of a plurality of longitudinal bars (8) arranged in parallel to one another, with an irregular diameter and/or gap being provided between said longitudinal bars (8), such that the quantity of material used is reduced.
