Protocol and standard-supporting patents such as 802.11, Wimax, GSM, CDMA, TDMA, W-CDMA (UMTS), and CDMA2000 EV-DO, 3G, TD-SCDMA are of interest to the buyer. They are open to consider a wide range of technologies and applications.

The buyer interest is primarily in issued U.S. patents with supporting international counter-parts. They are open to consider individual patents or entire portfolios.

Ideal candidates for acquisition would have at least 5 years before expiry.
