It’s grim statistics like these that prompted the agency to host an open innovation challenge to develop cost-effective solutions for firearm storage, which Veterans and their families and friends could use to prevent suicide, injury or accidents.

Singapore is looking to ramp up its innovation efforts and therefore will soon be launching the Open Innovation Platform, a virtual crowdsourcing platform that aims to foster innovative ideas and narrow the gap between research and commercialization.
