Finding new sources of capital in any economy can be difficult, but the task is positively Herculean in straightened times. Crowdfunding is an additional option where businesses receive funding from small sums invested by individual crowd members.

To help you decide whether crowdfunding is the right path for your business join renowned speaker Michael “Hutch” Hutchison and members of the CommunityLeader executive team for a very special webinar.

Crowdsourcing.org will be streaming  a roundtable discussion that took place earlier this week in Minnesota about what crowdfunding can do for various businesses.

“Most entrepreneurs find it very difficult to get funding, and I would say that for now the areas where crowdfunding has the most opportunity is in those under-served areas that traditional financiers have traditionally found unattractive,” said Hutch.

The roundtable participants will also be available to take your questions and comments in a Google Hangout On the Air.

In the Dark?

Crowdfundng is an increasingly popular vehicle for accessing funds in the arts, non-profits and entertainment industries. But many businesses, particulary small to medium-sized enterprises are still in the dark about it. The roundtable discussion and Q&A is an excellent opportunity to find out more and to see if it will be the next big thing in your business.
