566px-Gold_Currency_Symbols.svgSecuring investment for your pet project or idea through crowdfunding has just got a little bit easier with a new product called CrowdHoster.

It was developed by Crowdtilt and makes it possible for anyone to start their own crowdfunding campaign without going through third party sites such as Kickstarter and Indiegogo.

Conceived as the “WordPress for crowdfunding,” CrowdHoster enables companies to launch a campaign directly and easily on their own site. They don’t even have to touch a line of code.

The guiding philosophy is to make it easy for everyone to take advantage of group payments.

The technology is available for free on the Crowdtilt site and it includes: templates for a project page with a funding process bar, sharing links, and content areas that can be customized to suit users’ needs. There is also a choice of payment processors including Balanced, Stripe or Amazon Payments.

Crowdfunding is Hot

With crowdfunding being one of the hottest concepts in business right now, it is perhaps no surprise that new products are being developed. Cutting out the traditional money men can make it easier for entrepreneurs and businesses to secure funds to help them get their concepts off the ground. It can be a lifeline for those organisations that have limited resources.

Invite Only

At the moment CrowdHoster is available by invite only as the team irons out kinks and ensures that the entire process is running smoothly. To be invited you need to go the CrowdHoster main page, leave an email address and a description of your project.
