The 2018 Optimal Aging Challenge is a global competition to improve healthy aging by leveraging the development of breakthrough technologies, community resources and other solutions to reduce social isolation and loneliness and increase engagement among the older populations.

Focusing on housing, transportation, caregiving and employment, your primary audience will be seniors with a secondary audience being caregivers, family members, friends etc. Your ideas should help reduce loneliness and isolation and offer a new way to engage and empower the older population. You will also include a thorough report indicating the feasibility of your idea and how you envision it being implemented in Massachusetts.
