Imagine the future of insurance! The internet of things (IoT) and Big Data are playing an increasingly important role in our daily lives, particularly in our homes and vehicles. This meteoric rise offers new outlooks and brings new challenges and issues for all policyholders.

To help its customers through this transition, TD Insurance is giving you the chance to come up with innovative products or services that use Big Data and the IoT in homes and vehicles to provide better protection to policyholders in their everyday lives.

Whether you're a novice or an expert in the world of insurance, this challenge is an opportunity to demonstrate your creative skills and innovative potential: whether it's a new service, a unique prototype, an innovative programme, or something else entirely, it's over to you to design THE perfect solution that will amaze the TD Insurance teams!

Your mission!

Working in teams of 2-5 people, your mission is to use smart objects and data science to improve the insurance sector. By offering a new solution that prevents risks and provides better cover, create a more personalized service or develop new ways for policyholders to interact with their insurer.

The teams that are selected for the second stage of the challenge will receive advice from a TD Insurance mentor. Your mentor will guide you in the right direction and help you to expand on your solution – the perfect way to make sure you're giving your best!

Finally, the teams chosen for the final will be invited to give a pitch at TD Insurance's headquarters in Montreal to a prestigious jury of company managers and IoT and Big Data experts.
