E.A.T. School Lunch UX Challenge Deadline: 2016-03-01

The E.A.T. School Lunch UX Challenge, an online hackathon hosted by Devpost and the USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service, asks UX designers and software developers to give the national school meal programs application an overhaul & help millions of kids qualify for free or reduced price school meals.

The hackathon challenges technologists to create a new electronic application prototype that incorporates great UX & interaction design features for the best possible reporting outcome to help ensure that kids in need have access to meals. The digital applications that most impressively redesign the user experience will win a total of $50,000 in cash prizes and help establish a new national standard in digital design for government.
