The opportunity of a lifetime awaits as the Lexus Design Award 2019 begins its call for submissions. Finalists will be mentored by worldly acclaimed professionals, receive over $25,000 (USD) of funding to develop their prototype and travel to Milan Design Week 2019 to exhibit their work on the world’s biggest design stage to compete for the Grand Prix.

Lexus Design Award 2019 calls upon young creative talent around the world to “Design for a Better Tomorrow”. Since 2013, this international design competition has provided the chance of a lifetime for up-and-coming designers to win the prestigious award for innovative design excellence, propel their growth, and reach world-class exposure.

Your design will need to incorporate three principles fundamental to Lexus: “Anticipate. Innovate. Captivate.” Your design should anticipate the needs of the user experience as well as benefit society. It needs to demonstrate innovation with fresh, imaginative solutions. It should also command attention, captivating users, audience and judges alike with its compelling concept and execution.
