Abhinav Shashank's Problem Solving Experience:

  1. Investing In Education: Investment Report was made for a client in business of supplementary education. Branding & Marketing strategies were also laid down after complete financial analysis & phase-wise growth plan.
  2. Copyright in Art Business: Issue relating to copyright over a sold painting was addressed. Usually it is the author (and not the buyer). Some exceptions were discussed which would enable a person to undergo his/her business of buying and selling paintings shielding from the legal copyright issues.
  3. Climate Change Effects on demography in India: We are a part of UK based global team to study the effect of climatic changes on demography in India. This work is being carried out in collaboration with one of our partnering organizations.
  4. Branding Strategy for Web Start-Up: A task to increase number of users of a web based portal and views sharing community. The client was US based and wanted to have more number of users from India. Strategic Implementation of branding, publicity and stickiness of the users was carried out.
  5. Impact Assesment of an International NGO: To carry out impact assessment of the models implemented by an international NGO in five districts of Orissa.
  6. Election Awareness Plan: An Election Awareness plan was made for the election commission of Bihar including implementation, budgeting & time standards.
  7. Business Destinations: International Client has to establish a company headquarters in an off-shore region where ease of doing business, low tax, access to FDI and other favorable features are favored. We analyzed all the factors and presented top business destinations in finance and technology report showcasing chosen destinations along with these factors.
  8. Bridge Maintenance Policy: A Bridge Maintenance Policy was laid out for the Bihar Govt.’s Pul Nirman Department according to their requirements and targets.
  9. Public Private Partnership: A consultancy project was carried out in collaboration with a non-profit consultancy firm for organizational development. The report focuses on different PPP models in India, Examples of PPP in different sectors and strategies to choose the right model and plan out accordingly. This report aims to help people in India to understand PPP models properly and for those who are likely to invest or partner in PPP.
  10. Fund Allocation for a District: A task was undertaken in collaboration of developmental agency to allocate funds in a district for five years. Allocation has to be for the betterment of the district during the five years, especially the backwards. Land profiling, activities, district statistics (population, area, banks, hospitals, police stations, schools etc.), present condition, strengths and weaknesses were taken into account while preparing the fund allocation report.
