Bizuayehu Tesfaye Bizuayehu Tesfaye (Ph.D.) Renewable Energy and electrical engineer with over 14 years in the power sector: In-depth experience managed and controlled all aspects of project development including feasibility study, ESIA study review, and approval, grid connection study, geotechnical and hydrological study, community liaison, liaise with Development Finance Institutions for areas of possible collaboration (World Bank, IFC AfDB,), stakeholder engagement at all level from community to government, Identifying and screening PPP projects, conducted on pre-feasibility and full feasibility study for solar and wind power, Appraise, reviewed, approved Value for Money (VfM) and Cost-Benefit Analysis for selected PPP project and structuring tender document for IPP project. Represent and promote EEP’s technical capabilities and programming at donor meetings, internal events, and national and international conferences. Bizuayehu Tesfaye coordinated and lead two scaling solar programs the total installed capacity 250MW (Gad &Dichetto ) Solar Farm from project screening to commercial closed. Bizuayehu Tesfaye leads and controls wind mast installation campaigns (Erection, test, and commissioning) at seventeen mast locations across Ethiopia financed by DANIDA and World Bank Group. (Accelerate Wind Power Generation in Ethiopia), Leading and control Feasibility and ESIA and RAP studies preparation for new three candidate’s large-scale hydropower and five hydropower projects to reviews and update previous feasibility and RAP and prepare Amendment collaboration with the international consulting firm through African Development Bank’s Sustainable Energy Fund for Africa
