I have given several presentations on innovation in industry, detailing why is almost inevitably fails and how to improve innovation. These have been greeted by very positive feedback from people world-wide who recognize these problems in their own organizations.
Innovation talks tend to be either a collection of funny stories or a presentation of theories from a business school professor who knows nothing about innovating the real world.
Having worked at Electrolux, BASF and other companies and in multiple countries as an innovator, I can give the true picture of how it real works, or rather how it doesn't. I present real stories that will make you laugh but the message is a serious one. We all need innovation and we are not going to find it the way things are run today.
New tools and concepts will also be introduced including the exciting new Innovation Index that has generated much excitement.
I have presented at:
SpecialChem Innovation breakfast at the NPE / Antec in Chicago 2009.
SpecialChem webinar September 2009
University of Southern Mississippi to the MBA graduates class
University of Southern Mississippi to the Business School undergraduates
As well as presentations on innovation, I have many years experience presenting on plastics. Including workshops, web seminars and invited lectures to international audiences. Twice voted best speaker at international conferences.
