  1. • Develop new dental adhesives/products to deliver and anchor nanocrystals into dentin tubules, and optimized dental materials to release dentine hypersensitivity.
    • Designed polymer coatings/films by using catechol group as self-bonding agent on glass, plastic, and metal surfaces for medical applications, for example, killing bacterial on contact and preventing the biofilm. The self-adhesive group is a synthetic mimic of the natural amino acid 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (DOPA) found in the mussel adhesive protein
    • Improved the coating procedure into one-step coating method by using self-bonding catechol agent on glass, plastic, and metal surfaces. Characterized polymer surfaces and materials by NMR, GC/MS, GPC, MTS, MALDI and SEM.
