Jeff Winter
- Designed a system to extract heat energy from a car engine that could be used to improve a hybrid.
- Designed a system that could boot alternate operating systems and programs in seconds. Computer technology is finally matured enough to make this system viable. I designed it 12 year ago.
- Designed a system that uses RFID's to track tools on the Space Station. Although management agreed it could save millions of dollars by more accurately tracking tool life, it was determined that the testing and paperwork required would take too long.
- Designed an electrolyzer that uses a solid electrolyte (instead of KOH) that can economically provide hydrogen and oxygen to a car engine by taking advantage of the excess power the alternator produces. This improves the efficiency of the engine and raises gas mileage.
