My main skill is being able to research. Knowing where and how to look for answers, then knowing how to format and display information in various ways is far more crucial than being able to make software applications. I can, however, go on to make that software after developing solutions.

Jim Sims's Problem Solving Experience:
- A neurologist met with me wanting to find a way to make sense out of 15 medical tests, 100 video guided exercises, and all of the combinations that these elements bring to the table. I developed a system for diagnosis, prevention, and rehabilitation of a specific set of upper-body musculoskeletal conditions.
- An electronics company that makes transducers wanted to enable people to better specify transducer requirements for their web (think newsprint, cloth manufacture) manufacturing plants. I developed a web based and desktop, easy to use tool for calculating force in Newtons that has now been in use since 1995.
