John McHardy's Problem Solving Experience:
- From 1997 to 2003, I resolved multimillion dollar production problems with nickel-hydrogen batteries and helped establish the viability of lithium ion batteries for space operations.
- From 2003 to 2007, I created the algorithms that served as the electrochemical “brains” of microprocessor-based battery testers.
- In 2008, I also guided technical discussions that led to the formation of a company that is now developing large-scale flow batteries.
- In 2008, I began consulting for clients ranging from large biotechnology firms to small startup companies. My work led to significant advances in biomedical sensors and rechargeable lithium-metal batteries.
