Julia Skripka-Serry Proven Solver

I have degrees in Biotechnology and Drug Discovery from the University of Edinburgh. I have worked in five different labs on various projects, which have ranged from genetic cloning to protein analysis. I have also been a member of the Edinburgh University Genetically Engineered Microorganism (IGEM) team and worked on creating a bacterium able to accurately signal the presence of land mines in minefields.
My particular interest lies in the sphere of bioscience start-up as I believe that much more potential lies in small companies rather than R&D departments of giant, global corporations. University spin-offs are my particular interest and I am confident that IdeaConnection could be hugely beneficial in helping this type of companies get on their feet.
