Kelly Rasmussen's Problem Solving Experience:

1. Designed the "Tuff & Lite" fiberglass ladder line consisting of: extension ladders, multifunction ladders, and step ladders. The ladders design, functionality, and affordability yielded great industry reviews. Designs optimized weight, strength, impact toughness, product cost, and aesthetic appeal.
2. Completed a formal FDA design submission including patent. Develop a proximally trimmed distally valved dual lumen micro catheter. Project included: market studies, competitive metrics, concept generation and selection; finite element analysis; prototyping, testing, and injection mold design.
3. Designed a waste tire disposal facility including: storage, conveyors, washers, shredders, pyrolysis units, power plant, air scrubbers, & electrical control systems. The facility had to meet EPA standards and several governmental restrictions to qualify for grants.
