I led the team that achieved the first biological display with engineered yeast glowing under electric control; I led the wetlab team that developed the first engineered yeast strain able to heat its own medium up; I developped several techniques for PCr identification of B. thuringiensis genes both in strains and in GM plants; I set up novel strategies for the identification of gene networks of biotechnological interest.
