I have completed my four years Bachelor degree in the field of Genetics by the year 2009 from the Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, University of Sindh Pakistan. During my studies I got the considerable practical knowledge about my field and learned to carry out laboratory work as a team member as well as I did individually. During this time span I learned the use of different laboratory equipments like Laminar Air Flow Chamber, Autoclave Machine, Growth chamber, Electrophoratic chamber, UV-Visible spectrophotometer, Chromatographic Techniques etc, so I have the essential knowledge of laboratory equipments and their uses with personal safety. I performed different Experiments during the four year period on plants, animals and microorganisms (bacteria, fungi) also learned culturing techniques, media preparation, field preparation, sterilization techniques, stock preparations and microscopy techniques. I carried out my research project during the academic year 2009 entitled “Effect of sodium azide on physiological and biochemical properties of tomato (Lycopersicon Esculentum Mill.)” in plant Biotechnology Research Laboratory, Institute of Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Pakistan.
During studies I have learned the general laboratory techniques including PCR and Gel Electrophoresis as an internee at National Institute of Health (NIH), Islamabad.
I also got an internship at Nuclear Institute for Food and Agriculture (NIFA), TARNAB, Peshawar, and Learned plant tissue culture techniques and Analysis of seed storage protein in wheat through SDS-PAGE.
