- In the 1980's I was the first one to crystallize bacteria ribosomes for x-ray cryxtallologic moleular structure analysis.
I was responsible for pulling to gether the team that did the enitre DNA sequence for the Yeast Chromosome 1. It was the second eukaryotic chromosome completed.
I identified 5 genes in yeast responsible for nuclear organization using a combination of immune microscopy, biochemistry and yeast genetics.
