- In negotiating for additional free-of-charge spares for the company, my report included the supplier MTBF estimates and the actual failure of radio and transmission equipment in the field. The vendor agreed to provide additional spare equipment at no cost.
- In Motorola's delivery of huge quantities of infrastructure components for an Indonesian customer, my suggestion was to color-code the crates so that there would be no mix-ups from the factory floor in the U.S. up to the provincial depots in Indonesia.
