Problem Solver

S A Brown
I know a little bit about everything. Mostly, that's a curse. But when it comes to unconventional and effective solutions for annoying and problematic situations, I'm in my element. Sometimes a fresh, inexperienced eye has the best vision.

Areas S A Brown is Knowledgeable in:

home/family based issues, physical/mechanical dilemmas, design matters

-I have designed and built many custom pieces of furniture to suit specific situations/needs
-I have worked with groups of young children to help them write, illustrate, and publish their own storybook
-I have written two full-length novels
-I love to coach baseball

Techniques S A Brown Uses:

I like to sit back and observe the problem from all angles, get to know it, understand where it came from and why it's causing stress now. Then I want to know as much as possible about what the situation SHOULD look like - set goals, possible/impossible, short/long range, realistic/ridiculous. Then I track the path from point A to point B. Set a plan and take a step. Any step. Just get moving. Try it out. I hate outrageously long discussions about every possible outcome an action can have. Choose a path. Start walking. If you get to a cliff, change course, go back - but now you know; you're not just sitting in a meeting guessing.
