Sneha Kakade's Problem Solving Experience:

1. I came up with a solution to neon lamp radiations. I mentioned that the solution would be to use a radiation filter. Radiation filters already exist, but possibly try and develop an ultra think one that can be placed like a film over the neon bulb. However, this would still require substantial R&D.
2. I posted a solution to "Limited Water for Farming." I mentioned, that it would also help if urban planners could access American urban planning educational material. Online distance courses that Western universities could offer to urban planners and agricultural and farming students in developing Asia and Africa could help if they were trained by those in the Western Hemisphere (because of the advanced farming and urban planning methods). American Universities could increase their revenue by letting in foreign students through their online classes. On the other hand the foreign students would be learning a great deal in improving their native country. Thus, this would be mutually beneficial for American Universities and foreign students.
3. Carrying large tape dispensing devices can be cumbersome. Consequently, I came up with a solution for a smaller and easier to carry tape dispensing device.
4. A problem I had to solve was Fundamentalism. My answer was create a social engineering website where people from around the world write and describe their ideal country along with the rest of the world and how it should be for the next 150 years (or how many ever years specified). The idea is to create unity by understanding the perspectives of those from different countries by understanding the opinions of natives. All views are accepted and this website is to teach views how the majority from one part of the world they are researching truly thinks. This website will be a database of opinions from around the world to help us come together and end problems we face in the world today like fundamentalism and extremism, or at least understanding their roots.
