In todays world energy is very precious, and to heat water very energy intensive. An average solar water heater costs 32,000 INR but I managed to use easily available materials to design a solar water heater at 3,000 INR. The new design is easy to maintain, parts are locally available and equally efficient than it's competitors. The design uses simple yet innovative concepts to maximize the heat retaining capacity of the system. The design also solves the problem of pipes running down cold water when the solar water heater is at the terrace, by using pressure valves in an innovative combination.
