Abbas Maaroof

My primary research focus in condensed matter physics, and thin films technology is mainly on applied physics and nanotechnology. My main strength is in various aspects of nanoplasmonic, metamaterials, nanocoatings, nanocomposite materials and related nanostructure functional materials in both nanofabrication and characterizations. I also consider myself as an expert in the application of effective medium and percolation theories. More recently, I gained modelling skills and knowledge of the finite element method using the well known software called COMSOL to obtain exact numerical solutions for any complicated nanostructure.
