I am particularly knowledgeable in data visualization. If possible this can simply be with the use of Excel. If the data set is too large I can use some simple python code to aid in data analysis.
Techniques Alexander Nelson Uses:
1. A well defined problem is half-way solved. I try to know as much as possible about this issue at-hand. It's important to understand how the customer views the problem as they will the ones judging its solution in the end.
2. Root-cause investigation, which could include a fish-bone diagram, to tease out a small number of issues that could fix the larger issue at-hand.
3. Brainstorm solutions to these few issues and devise a method of either investigation or experimentation that will determine if each is in fact a real cause of the issue.
4. Execute the research or testing as possible, document and analyze results.
5. Report findings. Repeat steps 3 and 4 above if necessary.

- I wrote, communicated, and executed test plans utilizing statistical design of experiments (DOE) to optimize grid-scale energy storage flow battery. Improvements included increasing high-power efficiency by 10% and minimizing surface preparation time by a factor of 100.
- I did troubleshooting and resolved battery issues with software, sensors, pumps, inverters, and chemistry both in Validation Lab setting and at installed customer locations.
