Carel is an entrepreneur with strong innovative, start-up, creative, spatial, analytical, organizational, negotiation and management skills. Gained international business experience since 1999 and manages geographic diverse software development and 3D design teams on a regular basis on projects with extremely tight deadlines. Excel at problem solving and IP development in software, robotics, and (mobile) biometrics with international patents awarded, pending, and under development. He takes ownership and accepts responsibility of each project he chooses to become involved with, and have a sound record of successful delivery. He has a methodological approach and attention to detail, skilled in PM Bok and its integration within Business Process Management, with sound knowledge in IDef0, Six Sigma, TQM and TPS.

His interests tend to lean more towards software and solution architecture, business process optimization, parametric 3D/4D design and innovation, with applications in Constructive Simulation, Enterprise Risk & Facilities Management, Building Performance Analysis and Mining Sectors. He subscribes to a healthy lifestyle, and is an experienced scuba diver, skydiver, and IronMan triathlete.
