1. I developed an optimization system for the operations of industrial boilers, determining the start up, warm up of the multiple pieces of equipment and the mix of fuels to be consumed. This project generated a significant amount of savings to the company. This research was the subject of my masters dissertation and a publication is available at http://link.springer.com/article/10.1057/jors.2013.84
   
   I developed an optimization system for the tomato processing industry that allows to plan all the agricultural and industrial activities (planting, harvesting, machine operations, inventories, transport etc). This was my PhD thesis. Publications are available at:
