As an application owner in Schneider Electric I was responsible to implement new versions and customization, working with governance team for direction, subcontracted developers, internal developers, training and support teams, IT infrastructure management teams, IT implementation teams, etc. This was in a global context which included working with people from USA, Europe, China, India and other nationalities in virtual teams.
