- I redefined a test schedule for a valve eliminating wasted time on test functions which were not required, provided acceptable limits for pass or fail based on test data. I also ensured that the work would not infringe on any IP issues.
- Reduced non productive costs by approx. 80% using six sigma methodologies.
- I have developed a repair for an indication switch which reduced the costs significantly for replacing defective parts. The repair costs £90 including parts and labour whilst a new switch costs in the region of £1200. The repair has been performed over the past year with units being returned to service.
