Erik Farr's Problem Solving Experience:

  1. Some time ago I participated in the FIRST robotics tournaments, developing many novel engineering solutions for robotics, wiring solutions, design and machining experience. Each year my personal contributions were large factors in earning the team's General Motors Industrial Design Award.
  2. Measured pH and temperature dependence on the structure & composition of oceanic organic aggregates.
  3. Developed novel nano-rough surfaces for directed neuron growth.
  4. Created novel microfluidics devices exploiting the unique membrane Nafion.
  5. Built a novel experimental apparatus for measuring femtosecond dynamical details and temperature dependence of the hydrated electron's first excited state lifetime.
