I have a very strong sense of what will be developed today. As an active idea creator and innovator I have noticed, more then often, that my concepts are created after a respectable period when I had put them on paper. Lots of concepts I develop will be created one day. With or without my help. I offer opportunities to businesses to be the first in the field because one of my forces is the enthousiasm en hunger for finding new solutions for old -or not even signalled- problems. I am not a technician. I am creating concepts for new online services, new products and (media) tools and advice and create communication, marketing and media opportunities and products as well as campaigns solving ideas in a variety of ways.

Erik Vos's Problem Solving Experience:

  1. Create funding for foundations
    Implementation of viral marketing tools to: create a database, create a buzz, stimulate sitetraffic, create new supporters, work within networks of supporters.
    Building of online tools.
  2. Creation of new product concepts. Animal hats is a simple example to create a product to support a brand or organisation. These hats where new and sold in warehouses. Revenues of sales where distributed within cooperating partners: warehouses, foundations and designer (me)
  3. Create awareness for an international foundation Seashepherd. The in Holland unknown foundation had problems. The Dutch community (and press) didn't know anything about the foundation. I created a campaign with Hollywood stars like Martin Sheen (in a spot) and Pierce Brosnan, Mick Jagger and many many more (in newspaper ad) With this help the foundation stepped into the limelight. Free media coverage turned the foundation into top level news items during months. Greenpeace was complaining about the fact that they did not get enough attention.
  4. A surprising relaunch concept made a magazine choose for the advertising agency I worked for. The campaign was finally rejected by the highest responsable but because of the idea the agency got a second opportunity to create another campaign proposal. The second concept was approved with enthousiasm by all participants. I sign for both campaign concepts. I worked individually on the job.
  5. I have actually developed different media concepts. They solve the problem that normal media looks like media. Look like advertising. The media I have created use consumers to help spreading the message of brands. Because of reasons of protection I can not speak openly about these concepts. After signing an NDA I am open to talk about them. The concepts are interesting for shop-chains, cafe's and restaurant chains. Interesting for media and advertising companies looking for new opportunities.
  6. The spreading of the image of a dog related foundation can cost a lot of money. The 'let the dog bark a song' (http://www.dog8.nl) spread the image of an organisation with the best trained dogs of the world. Dogs who help disabled people and make them more independent. The barked songs created with the help of the sitevisitors were sended to friends and family and the image of the organisation was spread. A PR campaign and regular sitevisitors helped the first people to start making their songs. At the end of the modular people where asked to support the organisation.
  7. I have developed an extraordinary line of fashion accesoires. One of the items is produced for Disney. This new productline will create a buzz. The unique use of different media makes this product series outstanding.
  8. I am actually developing a new site which will be a valuable platform within a couple of years. The confidentail concept is supported by different companies and part of a researchstudy. The site will help companies to solve problems.
  9. Create a B2B new business campaign for a research company active on the advertising and media-field. The concept was rewared with the highest price on effectivity.
