Techniques Gary Wetzel Uses:
I am a software engineer. I pull together a number of web resources, become intimate with them, and then combine them into a program, I use excel extensively to rapidly develop a user interface, and to verify that solutions, when developed, will work
Gary Wetzel's Problem Solving Experience:
- I designed a line of site algorithm which quickly and correctly simulated obstructions (mountains etc). It also allowed for the oblate spheroidal curvature of the earth
- I created a proof of concept data exchange mechanism which used xml and xml schemas to allow to disparate entities to share common information.
I developed a model which demonstrated the feasability of the above concept, and implemented that model in Java
