Gilles Mpembele's Problem Solving Experience:
- I developed a method to determine the root cause of power supply failure in a chemical company. The issue was each and every day one out of a thousand power supplies will fail, causing the company to loose money. I implemented a high speed large storage data capability to capture the event that was causing the power supplies to fail. My strategy consisted on a statistical method to determine which power supply was likely to fail, and eventually was able to capture the event, determine the root cause and drive the corrective action.
