1. I identified a novel concept for pivot point control, particularly suited to agricultural machinery such as boom pivot control and castor pivot control.
2. I developed the concept for a novel fence retaining clip suitable for agricultural fencing.
3. I identified critical process problems for a water efficiency project under an R&D program I was managing. I outlined the issue and the solution to the project manager, had the project plan amended and the project went on to successful completion resulting in significant water savings for irrigated horticulture.
4. I developed a novel method for bioreactor production of a plant hormone of interest to crop production science.
5. I developed a novel method for safely transferring microbiological material through hostile environments.
6. I Identified and implemented a solution to a critical regulatory roadblock for a hydrogen fuel cell bus trial program.
7. I developed a novel method for alternative gassing of beverages, being particularly relevant to the brewing industry.
8. Involved in the development and trouble shooting for novel precision broad-acre agriculture equipment. This included developing an adapted liquid fertilizer delivery system, airflow delivery research, field trouble shooting and field research management.
