John Walker's Problem Solving Experience:
- -Invented patented process for resurfacing hockey rink ice. The machine is capable of resurfacing a hockey rink in under 10 seconds allowing dozens of cleanings in a single game.
- -One of four designers of 1,400 tons/hr cement vessel loading system ($10m project).
The system is a worlds first ship loader design incorporating hundreds of tons of steel and is currently operational in Canada. - -Patented designed and built pyrolysis machine for capturing carbon to combat global warming. The technology captures the carbon from multiple sources of biomass from wood chips to municipal sludge.
- -Invented, patented commercialized window screen assembly machine. The technology almost fully automates the assembly of window screens for large scale producers.
